Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Training
Course Overview
The Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act represents a significant shift in how road traffic violations are enforced in South Africa. With the first phase of AARTO’s national rollout set to begin on 1 December 2025, following its promulgation by President Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa is taking its initial steps toward overhauling road traffic enforcement.
This course provides a comprehensive, module-based breakdown of the AARTO process—from the issuing of infringement notices to the enforcement of demerit points and the potential suspension or cancellation of licences.
It is designed to equip attendees with practical tools and legal knowledge to navigate this system confidently and compliantly.
