US 123254 NQF Level 4 20 Credits 5 Days
This course develops the knowledge and practical competence required for the safe, professional operation of vehicle combinations with a gross vehicle mass exceeding 3.5 tons. Training covers vehicle preparation, professional driving, service quality, unexpected situations, parking, and the correct coupling and uncoupling of a drawing vehicle and trailer.
Liderazgo is accredited with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) under accreditation number TETA13-327. The current accreditation scope includes Unit Standard 123254 - Operate a Vehicle Combination, at NQF Level 4 for 20 credits.
The current TETA accreditation extension is valid from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2028, subject to the lifespan of the unit standard and legislative changes.
Learners develop competence to prepare and operate a vehicle combination safely and professionally in accordance with legal, manufacturer and operational requirements. The programme also addresses service quality, vehicle stability, unexpected situations and the safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers.

Assessment includes questioning, practical driving evaluation and portfolio evidence of the required driving experience.
Learners must demonstrate competence across the theoretical and practical outcomes of Unit Standard 123254.
